Account Executive

• Generate revenue growth through sale of AspenTech software solutions and professional services.
• Customer-facing role using consultative skills to position AspenTech solutions and renew/grow business.
• Manage assigned accounts and opportunities, coordinating with marketing, pre-sales engineering, and development.
• Achieve assigned quarterly/annual sales quota and maintain pipeline for licenses and services.
• Manage customer relations through Quarterly Customer Business Reviews and regular customer visits.
• Coordinate functional groups to develop and present customer financial benefit assessments.
• Gather market information, analyze competition and market trends, and work cross-functionally.
• Develop clear account strategy and perform white-space analysis; own Deal Model process for assigned clients.
• Manage day-to-day sales process, proposals, contracts, pricing approvals, and CRM/time management inputs.
• May require 50%+ travel per year.

• The Director, Area Sales is responsible for meeting revenue goals within assigned accounts within Europe.
• The ideal candidate will be an experienced enterprise software sales leader with a proven track record of successfully leading a high-growth sales organization.
• The Company seeks an individual who brings both experience in a relevant sales environment and who possesses the intellectual capability, leadership skills, organizational and process abilities to drive exceptional performance.
• This individual must have experience leading to the transformation of a sales organization and a strong track record selling enterprise solutions at the senior executive level.
• The candidate's knowledge and experience working with companies in the energy sector, whether upstream or downstream, and in the chemical market would be a plus.

Partner with field team to develop and implement regional sales and go-to-market strategies that expand the companys total addressable market, generate increased usage and product adoption, achieve aggressive objectives in growth in license annual spend, and meet or exceed annual budgetary objectives.
