About the role

  • Directly responsible for generating revenue growth through the sale of AspenTech software solutions and professional services
  • Use consultative skills to position software and services with customers
  • Manage assigned accounts and opportunities maximizing revenue growth
  • Provide sales and executive management with account updates, sales forecasts, and operational usage of SalesForce.com
  • Coordinate and lead multidivisional account teams to achieve customer success
  • Develop and nurture C Level relationships at assigned customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with experience selling software
  • Proven software sales experience or industry experience in consultative selling role
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong understanding of the sales cycle
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience selling to Industrial customers within the process industries
  • >8 years’ sales experience
  • Additional consideration for candidates with Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Industrial, Production, or Petroleum engineering.
  • Familiarity with process modeling software products and services
