About the role
- Directly responsible for generating revenue growth through the sale of AspenTech software solutions and professional services
- Use consultative skills to position software and services with customers
- Manage assigned accounts and opportunities maximizing revenue growth
- Provide sales and executive management with account updates, sales forecasts, and operational usage of SalesForce.com
- Coordinate and lead multidivisional account teams to achieve customer success
- Develop and nurture C Level relationships at assigned customers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with experience selling software
- Proven software sales experience or industry experience in consultative selling role
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of the sales cycle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience selling to Industrial customers within the process industries
- >8 years’ sales experience
- Additional consideration for candidates with Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Industrial, Production, or Petroleum engineering.
- Familiarity with process modeling software products and services
