About the role

  • Partner with AspenTech sales teams in Great China during the sales cycle
  • Lead consultative discovery process with customers
  • Craft a vision and roadmap of a solution that addresses customer requirements
  • Identify differentiated value capture potential and implementation program
  • Maintain understanding of AspenTech product strategy and sales pipeline
  • Provide customer-facing sales support demonstrating expertise in refining and chemical Supply Chain
  • Lead technical sales support for assigned opportunities to maximize product and services bookings
  • Facilitate customer understanding of AspenTech Supply Chain solutions technical functionality
  • Participate and/or lead customer consulting engagements to facilitate sales
  • Deliver technical presentations and perform software demonstrations

Requirements

  • B.S. in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
  • At least 10 years of experience in Planning or Operations Scheduling or Supply Chain related software/consulting.
  • Experience with AspenTech Supply Chain or similar market solution is a plus.
  • Familiarity with software business is a plus.
  • Business travel up to 50% on average.
