About the role

  • We are looking for a creative and detail-driven Digital Marketing Executive to join our marketing team. In this role, you will support the planning and execution of digital campaigns that elevates our brand, improves conversions and strengthens engagement within the ASMALLWORLD community. Working closely with the wider marketing team, you will create and schedule social media content, write compelling copy across digital channels, assist with visual asset creation, and support the creation and management of communications to our member base. The role will also involve coordination with external freelance writers, ensuring that all content reflects our luxury brand tone and identity.
  • This role is employed with a consulting contract, and the position is fully remote.
  • Support the planning, creation, and scheduling of content across ASMALLWORLD’s own community platform as well as external social media channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook), ensuring alignment with brand tone, visual identity, and strategic goals.
  • Assist in writing and editing clear, engaging, and on-brand copy for email newsletters, landing pages, marketing campaigns, and editorial content, tailored to our luxury travel audience.
  • Coordinate with freelance copywriters to ensure our travel editorial content is on-brand, audience-relevant, and meets our high editorial standards.
  • Support the design and production of visual assets using tools like Photoshop and Canva, ensuring a consistent premium look and feel across all content.
  • Help plan and develop email marketing campaigns to engage members, boost renewals and upgrades, and drive hotel and event bookings.
  • Assist in tracking and analysing data across internal and external platforms, compiling insights to inform future strategy and improve campaign performance.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and business development/partnership teams to support integrated, cross-channel campaigns that align with broader business objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a digital marketing role, preferably in a travel brand.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong copywriting skills with excellent attention to detail across a variety of digital channels.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop and design tools like Canva, with a strong eye for premium, brand-aligned visuals; abilities in additional Adobe Creative Cloud tools (e.g. Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro) are considered an advantage.
  • Proven ability to create and manage engaging email marketing campaigns using platforms such as Emarsys, Mailchimp, or similar tools.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Trello, Asana, etc. to manage tasks and collaborate effectively with wider teams.
  • Comfortable gathering and interpreting marketing performance metrics and identifying actionable insights.
  • Experience managing content calendars and publishing across major social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)
  • Knowledge of paid media channels, including Google Ads and Meta Ads, with a basic understanding of performance metrics and how to optimise them, is considered a plus.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
