About the role

  • Drive our marketing vision and objectives through Strategy and Planning
  • Take ownership of our Digital Marketing & Social Media to build our digital presence
  • Lead Content Creation and Design transforming ideas into content that captures attention and drives impact
  • Oversee our Brand Management, ensuring consistency while shaping and protecting our brand identity
  • Support and lead Marketing Events from concept through to execution
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives for the Ashton group
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and support strategic direction
  • Responsible for managing the Marketing Budget
  • Identify and secure opportunities to market our companies in relevant industry spaces, publications and events
  • Manage and grow our LinkedIn presence for both companies, creating engaging content that builds our brand presence
  • Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns including email marketing, content marketing, and SEO initiatives
  • Oversee and maintain both company websites, ensuring content is current, engaging and conversion-focused
  • Create marketing materials for external and internal use, including brochures, presentations, flyers and digital assets using tools such as Canva or Publisher
  • Develop case studies for our websites and to support tenders that showcase our project portfolio and experience across all services and building types
  • Ensure all design materials align with brand guidelines and cohesive feel across the Ashton group
  • Lead and support promotional events from concept through execution across the Ashton Group and individual workstreams
  • Design, order and distribute brand merchandise as required for internal and external use
  • Develop, document and maintain comprehensive brand guidelines across the group. Ensuring consistent approach for both internal and external documents
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and communications
  • Create supporting marketing materials for in-person events, webinars and other events as required for the Ashton group and individual workstreams
  • Coordinate the use of external photographers to support internal and external events

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a marketing role with both strategic and hands-on responsibilities
  • Strong design capabilities with proficiency in Canva and similar design tools
  • Demonstrated success managing social media accounts, particularly LinkedIn
  • Solid understanding of SEO, email marketing, and content marketing best practices
  • Experience planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
  • Upbeat personality with a high level of integrity and ethics
  • Excellent organisation, communication and time management skills
  • Flexible on taking on new tasks outside the core role
  • Multi-tasking team player
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Fluent English (spoken, written and comprehension).
