• Drive our marketing vision and objectives through Strategy and Planning
• Take ownership of our Digital Marketing & Social Media to build our digital presence
• Lead Content Creation and Design transforming ideas into content that captures attention and drives impact
• Oversee our Brand Management, ensuring consistency while shaping and protecting our brand identity
• Support and lead Marketing Events from concept through to execution
• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives for the Ashton group
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and support strategic direction
• Responsible for managing the Marketing Budget
• Identify and secure opportunities to market our companies in relevant industry spaces, publications and events
• Manage and grow our LinkedIn presence for both companies, creating engaging content that builds our brand presence
• Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns including email marketing, content marketing, and SEO initiatives
• Oversee and maintain both company websites, ensuring content is current, engaging and conversion-focused
• Create marketing materials for external and internal use, including brochures, presentations, flyers and digital assets using tools such as Canva or Publisher
• Develop case studies for our websites and to support tenders that showcase our project portfolio and experience across all services and building types
• Ensure all design materials align with brand guidelines and cohesive feel across the Ashton group
• Lead and support promotional events from concept through execution across the Ashton Group and individual workstreams
• Design, order and distribute brand merchandise as required for internal and external use
• Develop, document and maintain comprehensive brand guidelines across the group. Ensuring consistent approach for both internal and external documents
• Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and communications
• Create supporting marketing materials for in-person events, webinars and other events as required for the Ashton group and individual workstreams
• Coordinate the use of external photographers to support internal and external events

Marketing Manager

Engineer

• Your role will encompass all aspects of fire safety engineering.
• Undertaking research on new products and systems.
• Working with design teams.
• Preparing fire strategies.
• Undertaking site inspections and computational modelling.
• Supporting the implementation of effective fire safety management and protection measures in existing buildings.
• Opportunities to specialise in different areas of fire engineering to suit your interests.
• Liaising with a wider team of highly skilled fire consultants with specialisms that incorporate a diverse range of fields.
• Supported in learning fire safety engineering techniques and practices by our highly competent fire engineering team, which includes Chartered Engineers.
• Providing a supportive environment for you to develop both personally and professionally.

Fire Engineer

• Maintain high levels of quality in all fire engineering areas
• Help provide arbitration on issues arising in a manner likely to sustain a positive working environment
• Actively working towards chartership with expected timings to be discussed and agreed within the Personal Growth Plan (PGP)
• Maintain your development as an engineer and industry professional and as an individual
• Keep up to date with new technologies and innovations in fire engineering and brief the team where relevant
• Be fully conversant with all relevant legislation and recommend/ensure procedures are updated accordingly
• Attend and make positive contribution to meetings
• In collaboration with Directors, provide analysis of workload within Ashton Fire and allocate as appropriate
• Give encouragement, support, supervision (as appropriate), training and guidance to the rest of the team
• Have a clear track record of effectively line managing a team or multiple individuals
• Be responsible for the technical output of the team and ensure that a best practice, high quality, and ethically responsible approach is taken for all deliverables
• Identify and develop business opportunities and market the service offered within the organisation
• To assist the Directors in providing short-, medium- and long-term projections to ensure we respond to changing markets and client requirements
• Ensure the application of all Company policies, i.e. Equal Opportunities, Grievance etc. and deal with any deviations or report to the Directors
• In association with the Directors, assist with the development and implementation of policy in respect of Ashton Fire Limited
• Contributing to the development of the wider fire safety community through contributions to committees, conferences, work exchanges, etc.

Principal Fire Engineer

• Maintain high levels of quality in all fire engineering areas
