AI Engineer

• Provides financial analysis support to Global Supply Chain and Global Procurement managers
• Analyze, report, and forecast raw material costs at detail level and provide variance commentary to management
• Analyze, report, and forecast freight and logistic costs and provide variance commentary to management
• Analyze, report and forecast inventory aging and SMOG reserves and provide variance commentary to management
• Ad hoc reporting and analysis supporting various internal customers as required
• Participate in special projects as needed, i.e. Working capital improvement project and raw material purchase price variance improvement project

Global Operations Leader – Data and AI

• Develop strategies to ensure the company’s production activities comply with government regulations
• Serves as a liaison between regulatory bodies and operating divisions of the company
• Manage product registration applications and reports to applicable regulatory agencies
• Leadership of the EMEA regulatory team to ensure regulatory compliance of products supplied in the EMEA region with applicable regulations including REACH, UK-REACH, KKDIK, Ukraine REACH, CLP, CPR, MPR, BPR, MDR, PPPR, Food law, Feed law, etc.), monitoring of the regulations, assessing updates and communicating impact and implementation plans to senior management
• Identify and manage resolution to routine and complex issues including regulatory risk and provide risk/benefit strategies
• Navigate the people and processes of our commercial, manufacturing and supply chain organizations as well as the external landscape of regulatory agencies (ECHA, EFSA, EMA, European Commission, etc) and industry groups (CEFIC, IPEC, ICA, EFFCI, etc) to advocate on behalf of Ashland
• Develop regulatory goals and objectives in alignment with the Ashland business strategy
• Actively participate with Research & Development (R&D) as a regulatory champion in Ashland’s INNOVA process for developing, piloting and scaling-up new products under the new Ashland platforms
• Project Management of REACH and regulatory projects
• Supporting regulatory educational/training presentations and webinars
• Participate in customer meetings as required by EMEA commercial team, to provide regulatory guidance, positions and support
• Provide support and coordinate any other global regulatory tasks based on customers and commercial team request

• Lead Selling, Administrative and R&D (SARD) annual planning
• Report and review monthly/quarterly performance and update forecast
• Analyze expenses vs. budget, prior year, and forecast with leaders and owners
• Provide support to global and regional Business Unit Finance team around SARD.
• Review headcount, open positions and cost center allocations
• Prepare management presentations and provide decision support to leadership team
• Support Operations leadership Financial KPIs
• Collaborate with HR, Accounting, and other Finance teams for internal and external reporting
• Participate in special projects to improve productivity and efficiency
• Travel under 20%
