- Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for a Personal Injury Legal Assistant.\n
- Overview: Our client is a prominent New York City Personal Injury Law Firm specializing in Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, and Worker’s Compensation. The firm is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support attorneys through the claims process and client management. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Midtown Manhattan.\n
- Key Responsibilities:\n
- Assist attorneys with initial client consultations, policy reviews, and claim assessments.\n
- Analyze and gather medical records, physician documentation, and other supporting evidence.\n
- Prepare and submit initial claim filings and continued proof of loss documentation.\n
- Draft pleadings and handle No-Fault claims and medical requests.\n
- Communicate effectively with clients, medical professionals, and legal teams.\n
- Maintain organized case files and ensure timely follow-ups.\n
- Requirements:\n
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a legal or related field preferred.\n
- Experience:\n
- Previous experience working at a Plaintiff-side Personal Injury Law Firm.\n
- Familiarity with No-Fault claims, medical record requests, and legal pleadings.\n
- Comfortable handling medical and financial documentation.\n
- Other:\n
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and computer skills.\n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.\n
- Process-driven with the ability to work independently.\n
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.\n
- Must be able to work full-time in-office as part of a hybrid arrangement.\n
- Compensation and Benefits:\n
- Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year (commensurate with experience).\n
