About the role
- Hands-on Wireless Network Architect role designing and implementing Aruba wireless solutions for Ascension
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot wireless networks using Aruba technology
- Work with clients to assess their network requirements and create detailed network designs
- Conduct site surveys and RF analysis to identify optimal locations for access points and other wireless networking equipment
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients during the deployment of wireless networks
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in wireless networking technology and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and customer service
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Wireless Network Architect or a similar role in large enterprise environments
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, CS or a related field or 5 additional years relevant experience
- High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required
- 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred
- In-depth knowledge of wireless networking technologies and standards
- Extensive experience with Aruba products and solutions
- Strong understanding of network architecture and design principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams
- Healthcare Information Technology experience preferred but not required
- Ability to travel as needed
