About the role
- Overall responsible leader for 'Enterprise Solution Architecture’
- Designing the solution architecture for large Enterprise wide programs and initiatives across Ascension Technologies
- Managing a team of Enterprise solution architects
- Identifying and designing holistic technology solutions to enterprise grade business problems
- Collaborating across the organization and in tandem with key sponsors, business leaders, program leaders, architects and delivery leads
- Setting project teams up for success with a strong technical structure and providing guidance if issues present that deviate from the solution principles
- Evaluating the backlog of work and recommending the technical sequencing of future work
- Working across COTS products, infrastructure, data, internal product development, integration, security and AI as needed per assigned solution work
Requirements
- High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
- 10 or more years of architecture experience; experience working in a large global IT environment strongly preferred
- Five or more years experience in an information technology discipline with increasing responsibility
- Healthcare IT experience is highly preferred, ideally encompassing a broad range of business areas, care delivery settings, including related processes, integration and solution exposure.
- Product Model and Agile experience preferred (at scale)
- Familiarity with The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) and architecture modeling tools (e.g. Abacus, IBIS, Orbus iServer, MEGA, LeanIX, etc.)
