About the role
- Own sourcing strategies for battery cells, modules, packs, racks, and inverters
- Lead supplier selection, RFQs, negotiations, and contract execution
- Drive cost reduction through competitive sourcing and TCO analysis
- Qualify and manage suppliers across performance, quality, cost, and delivery
- Ensure compliance with UL, IEC, IEEE, NEC, and battery shipping requirements
- Collaborate on demand forecasting, inventory strategy, and safety stock planning
- Oversee inbound logistics for domestic and international shipments
- Partner with Engineering on specifications and new technology qualification
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 5–10 years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, or procurement
- Experience sourcing industrial, electrical, energy, or power-electronics components
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain analytics tools
- Experience with battery systems, inverters, or energy storage strongly preferred
