About the role

  • Lead and develop the Research team;
  • Structure, deepen and prioritize Asaas's strategic and disruptive innovation theses;
  • Ensure the quality, analytical depth and clarity of the studies used for strategic decision-making, turning complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for the organization;
  • Act as a strategic partner to the VP of New Ventures, supporting the organization, synthesis and prioritization of critical topics;
  • Support strategic discussions related to new initiatives, acquisitions and the evolution of the business portfolio;
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, M&A, experimental initiatives and executive leadership, influencing and aligning resources toward the most promising theses;
  • Act as an enabler for experimental initiatives, ensuring proper management flow and helping to unlock their growth and success;
  • Build and maintain a structured, forward-looking view on market, technology, regulation and new business model trends.

Requirements

  • Experience in strategy, new business, venture building, product, strategic consulting or related areas within SaaS/B2B companies;
  • Proven experience in senior strategic leadership roles, with a demonstrated track record of developing technical/specialist teams;
  • Strong analytical ability and structured thinking;
  • Ability to act as a technical reference in high-complexity environments;
  • Excellent communication and strategic translation skills (turning complexity into practical guidance for different stakeholders);
  • High comfort operating in ambiguous environments with topics that are not yet fully defined;
  • Experience building strategic theses and analyzing new markets;
  • Advanced English.
