Apply a risk-versus-value perspective and work on contract standardization and efficiency
Support domestic and international corporate transactions (contract amendments, reorganizations, due diligences, mergers and acquisitions), ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with Asaas’s long-term plan and conglomerate structure
Conduct legal and regulatory analysis of new products (credit, payments, PIX, postpaid, BaaS), translating regulations and structuring viable solutions for Product, Commercial and Finance teams
Support the Head of Legal in maintaining and evolving corporate governance, especially in preparation for IPO and conglomerate growth
Interpret regulations from the Central Bank (Bacen), CVM and other regulators applicable to Asaas’s financial operations and partnerships
Identify regulatory risks and opportunities in new business models
Work closely with Product, FP&A, Commercial and Tech teams, ensuring understanding of legal deliverables and translating risks and obligations into accessible language
Contribute to building and monitoring legal KPIs that impact the business: average response time, automation rate, volume of contracts reviewed via self-service, savings and risk mitigation
Support the digital transformation of Legal by proposing process improvements, automations and intelligent use of data and technology (CLM, Projuris, dashboards)
Requirements
Law degree and active OAB registration
Strong experience in Contracts, Corporate and M&A, with a strong interface with business areas
Experience in fintechs, IPs, SCFIs or financial technology companies
Strategic mindset and intellectual curiosity about financial regulation, products and market
Excellent communication, writing and negotiation skills
Ability to translate complex legal topics into practical and business-oriented decisions
