About the role
- Lead the development and enhancement of security architecture solutions aligned with enterprise and federal security frameworks
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all security-related decisions and risk mitigation strategies
- Provide recommendations and solutions for migrating enterprise applications to containerized and cloud-based environments
- Drive the remediation of security vulnerabilities, addressing findings from scanning and monitoring tools
- Provide architectural guidance and recommendations for applications hosted within secured web portals
- Define and mature DevSecOps practices, integrating security into all stages of the development lifecycle
- Coordinate activities related to security vulnerability management, compliance, and incident response
- Create and maintain security documentation and deliverables in accordance with federal standards
- Develop Level of Effort (LoE) and (V)ROM estimates to support impact assessments and planning activities
- Participate in technical design reviews and architecture governance meetings to ensure compliance with enterprise security principles
Requirements
- 8+ years developing and leading security architectures for large, complex enterprise systems
- 8+ years of experience leading architecture and/or development teams
- Strong communication and documentation skills, both oral and written
- 5+ years of experience designing security architectures for Cloud applications
- 5+ years of experience developing security architectures for containerized environments
- 4+ years of experience with microservices security and DevSecOps implementation
- 4+ years of experience on Linux-based platforms
- 4+ years of experience with configuration management tools such as IBM EWM and Git SCM
- 2+ years of experience with AWS GovCloud and Spring Boot security architecture
- 3+ years of experience preparing (V)ROM estimates and impact assessments
- CISSP Certification required.
