About the role
- Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to partners and senior associates in the Litigation Department team.
- Manage the billing process, including time entry, invoicing, and follow-up on outstanding payments.
- Liaise with the firm's finance department regarding the management of client accounts and transaction-related payments.
- Manage AML requirements for client onboarding, ensuring all procedures are followed.
- Manage auditing requests for clients.
- Maintain and organise physical and electronic files, ensuring all records are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Coordinate and manage communication with clients and other stakeholders.
- Arrange meetings, conference calls, and travel itineraries.
- Prepare, proofread, and format a variety of legal documents, including agreements, pleadings, correspondence and other related documents
- Prepare and format Court booklets and e-bibles.
- Other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
- Experience assisting with the management of medical negligence, personal injury, product liability and healthcare litigation.
- Proficiency in AML procedures for client onboarding and document management systems.
- Working knowledge of Elite 3E and other legal practice management software.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to be flexible to the needs of the Firm.
