Designer

QA Engineer

• Collaborate and support Design Quality Engineers with project analysis, including reviewing data as well as generating reports.
• Review process flow charts and interact with various cross-functional teams to establish processes.
• Support DQEs with change request/change notice reports, providing feedback/recommendations for rejection/approval.
• Support marketing project initiation gap analysis.

• Support material inspection and process improvement initiatives.
• Review engineering drawings and quality plans, as well as inspection information for accuracy.
• Investigate and implement inspection reduction activities.

• Responsible for the entire training management lifecycle
• Collaborate with external training providers and adapt and further develop concepts to meet specific needs
• Design learning journeys and a holistic experience strategy across individual training offerings
• Develop and implement modern, digital, and hybrid learning formats (e-learning, blended learning, microlearning)
• Ensure a positive learner experience across all learning processes
• Design and deliver selected training programs

Manufacturing Co-op – Swiss Engineering

• Generate or assist in generating human factors engineering reports and documentation for regulatory submissions, such as Medical Device Regulation (MDR) remediation/resubmissions.
• Assist in human factors analyses, such as complaints analyses, task analyses and risk analyses.
• Assist or participate in the planning, execution and review of usability testing of devices or concepts for various development projects.

Engineering Co-op – Human Factors

• Design baseline and risk management remediation activities, including modifying and updating Design Traceability Matrix (DTM) and Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (dFMEAs), risk trace updates, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) documentation and routing.
• Partner with Design and Quality Design Engineers to identify, update, and route documents for release within the Arthrex PLM system.
• Support MPI projects, including Design Control Documentation, Quality Plans, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) development, Engineering Change Reviews, complaints analysis, and Documentation Change Reviews (DCR).
• Support transition to a new management system by conducting data reviews in the new software.

Payroll

• Communicate and explain information related to payroll to all employees.
• Assist employees with the completion of payroll functions within the HRIS system.
• Communicates with payroll vendors and third-party administrators.
• Review and import payroll items
• Supports and audits time and attendance system and assists employees and managers to ensure accurate time and attendance entries.
• Responsible for maintenance of payroll process handbook.
• Ensures compliance with applicable local, state and federal tax agencies.
• Perform regular payroll audits.

SDET

• Co-op will work with the Imaging & Resection Test Engineering department to gain experience in research, design, testing, and manufacturing of medical devices.
• Lead projects for developing different test method procedures.
• Conduct research/design of experiments (DOEs) on developing products.
• Perform V&V testing for existing product development.
• Support reliability testing for various products within the I&R portfolio of products.
• Analyze data and articulate results into protocols/reports that can be easily followed.

Test Engineering Co-op – Imaging and Resection

Systems Engineer

• Architect and develop the next‑generation reliability automation platform for our Sentinel test ecosystem.
• Design and implement a software toolchain that coordinates and orchestrates a variety of internally developed hardware actuators.
• Integrate with existing SQA automation framework, and monitor system behavior through logs, console output, and webcam/video streams.
• Create a visual, node‑based workflow builder similar to block‑based programming environments or consumer automation tools.
• Contribute to the architectural foundations that allow the platform to scale long after the internship concludes.

Systems Engineering Intern

Supply Chain

• Move materials throughout the facility as required
• Responsible for picking and pulling material to fulfill work orders and deliveries
• Forklift, stock pickers, and turret truck equipment operations
• Performs needed stock adjustments in SAP and communicate as necessary
• Responsible for replenishing supermarkets, Kanban, and other replenishment areas for Production support

Analyst

• Assist the Manager - National Accounts and Business Optimization with developing and producing monthly analysis, reports, and tools that are distributed to Arthrex sales management teams and agency leadership
• Produce and maintain strategic customer models through research, source lists, and interaction with field sales management
• Maintain a thorough understanding and knowledge of the customer landscape
• Advise sales leadership of opportunities and threats in the marketplace by analyzing Arthrex business within these strategic customers
• Produce ad hoc analysis for national accounts team and other US sales managers
• Produce and maintain templates and monthly reports used by Arthrex sales management and agency sales leadership in Sharefile and Cognos
• Monthly creation of various national accounts price lists used by national accounts team and agency leadership to convey pricing to customers and customer service
• Assist the national accounts team, customer service, and the sales force in any price change implementations
• Work with customer service and field leadership to correct any pricing discrepancies with customer accounts
