About the role
- Professionally and actively work within the medical education department to carry out and oversee medical education strategy and implementation in Arthrex China.
- Develop, organize, communicate, monitor, and appraise medical education programs to ensure the safe and effective use of Arthrex products and improve knowledge of Health Care professionals.
- Manage Arthrex China Med Ed team and medical education budget to accomplish objectives.
- Plan, organize, implement and coordinate Medical Education activity including courses, labs, grants, symposium, donations and lectures.
- Coordinate instructional programs for surgeons on surgical procedures and products.
- Manage surgeon visits and consult with them on Arthrex-related affairs.
- Develop educational materials and resources for the advancement of medical education in China.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree or higher in one of the Biomedical Sciences or clinical medicine preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of knowledge and experience in orthopedic surgery and instruction (arthroscopy preferred)
- At least 2 years supervisory/management experience is preferred.
- Must have an in-depth knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, etc.
- Knowledge of orthopedic products.
- Must be willing to travel up to 40%.
- Excellent oral and written English and Chinese communication skills.
