About the role
- The Supplier Manager - Emerging Networking Suppliers develops and owns the go-to-market strategy for set of networking suppliers.
- Building influential relationships with key decision makers at assigned suppliers.
- Acting as liaison between field selling groups and Corporate.
- Developing influential supplier relationships with key decision makers resulting in Arrow being able to gain competitive advantage on sales opportunities.
- Working as a resource for the sales team to enable navigation throughout sales cycles.
- Identifying specific market segments and customers to market specific suppliers and technologies to the Arrow sales team.
- Working with team to develop strategies to grow sales/market share with suppliers and/or technologies.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 3 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent work experience.
- Experience working in the technology industry.
- Any background in networking is a plus.
- Guides others in resolving complex issues in specialized area based on existing solutions and procedures.
- Serves as an expert within own discipline.
- Serves as a resource for best practices/quality on functional teams or projects.
