About the role
- Implement global business objectives to ensure growth.
- May include identification and implementation of acquisition targets and/or potential partners.
- Develop strategic relationships with key suppliers for sales growth.
- Responsible for developing, managing, and creating the relationship between the organization and suppliers, customers, and/or vendors.
- Assists with the development and execution of strategy and business development.
- Provides market intelligence; evaluates, develops, and manages market specific sales strategies and new strategic business opportunities.
- Ensures execution to sales growth plans.
- Drives results through demand identification and demand creation opportunities.
- Responsible for implementing business development initiatives.
- This job profile requires the assignment and participation in a sales compensation plan.
Requirements
- Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 12 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.
- Recognized as an expert within the organization, both within and beyond own function
- Anticipates internal and/or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommends process, product or service improvements
- Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business
- Contributes to the development of functional strategy
- Leads project teams to achieve milestones and objectives
