About the role
- Drive demand creation by maximizing Arrow content on designs.
- Develop an advanced understanding of the customer’s needs and leverage Arrow’s engineering and design services resources to identify & facilitate solutions for customers.
- Apply technical expertise to influence designs utilizing solution selling, resources, and strategies.
- Partner with the sales team across pre-and post-sales activities.
- Provide technical support and consulting to promote demand creation.
- Prepare and give technical presentations to customers.
- Manage top opportunities and opportunity funnel for assigned suppliers.
- Attend supplier trainings in-person and via conference calls.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of supplier technologies and how those technologies relate to market needs.
- Provide training to sales teams on new products and help market these products to the appropriate customers.
- Manage supplier and customer expectations by building and developing relationships, keeping stakeholders up to date on activities, plans, and progress towards initiatives.
- Deepen and broaden connections with key decision makers within customers and suppliers.
- Attend and actively participate in strategic branch meetings and quarterly business reviews.
- Develop and drive strategic technical plans by supplier line or customer solution.
- Help plan and organize engineering customer events and seminars.
Requirements
- 2+ years of electronic design experience with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (preferred)
- In-depth knowledge and experience with system/board/engineering solutions and electronic components.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Sales experience is beneficial in this role.
- Requires an engineering degree (electrical preferred) and a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
