About the role

  • Lead and manage all store activities, ensuring customer satisfaction and achievement of sales targets
  • Manage the sales, checkout, stock and workshop teams (team engagement, organization, communication, vision, sharing objectives and results)
  • Be responsible for the quality of customer reception, services and advice to guarantee customer satisfaction (strong on-floor presence, versatility)
  • Prepare reports and activity analyses and propose continuous improvement measures
  • Optimize staff schedules while respecting allocated budgets
  • Ensure staff training on best practices for customer reception, advisory and sales, product knowledge and protocols, and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with protocols
  • Oversee supplies with a "zero stockout" objective by ensuring efficient stock organization and replenishment; organize and lead inventory counts to minimize shrinkage
  • Monitor cash registers and the accuracy of bank deposits and report information to the accounting department
  • Ensure flawless organization and execution of store opening and closing procedures
  • Coordinate external service providers (technical maintenance, premises and equipment upkeep, security, etc.) to ensure compliance and safety of the premises
  • Be responsible for the store presentation and exterior surroundings: ensure the space reflects the company image (cleanliness, merchandising setup, optimization of customer flow, etc.)

Requirements

  • Degree or training in business/commerce or equivalent professional background
  • 3 to 5 years of team management experience in retail
  • Knowledge of cosmetic and/or organic products is a plus
  • Strong understanding of retail operations: customer advising, reporting, performance indicators (KPIs), inventory management
  • Proficient in office software (Microsoft Office) and POS systems (ideally Cegid)
  • Good level of English
