About the role
- Lead and manage all store activities in collaboration with the Store Manager
- Ensure complete customer satisfaction
- With your team, handle sales registration and payment transactions
- Maintain overall store standards: merchandising, promotional displays, restocking, organization, hygiene and cleanliness
- Lead, organize and motivate the teams
- Provide ongoing training to staff
- Ensure mastery of and compliance with procedures
- Manage the teams in the absence of the Store Manager
- Oversee operational organization and follow-up from store opening to closing
- Verify the cash register system is updated at opening
- Ensure cash management and compliance of bank deposits
Requirements
- Education in business/commerce
- 3 to 5 years' experience in a busy retail store
- Knowledge of cosmetic and/or organic products is an asset
- Fluent written and spoken French
- Good spoken English
- Proficient with office software (MS Office) and POS systems (ideally Cegid)
- Strong interest in hands-on, customer-facing work
- Service-oriented with commercial awareness
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Team-oriented, recognized manager, autonomous, diplomatic, able to manage priorities
- Versatile, dynamic, operational and business-oriented
