About the role

  • Arrange meetings, demos or attendance for events through calls, emails and Linkedin
  • Develop your client base through market research
  • Achieve agreed KPI’s
  • Build market knowledge through professional qualifications
  • Build strong relationships with internal colleagues and external customers:
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential customers through research, outbound calls, and other strategic outreach methods to generate new business opportunities.
  • Sales Outreach: Engage with key decision-makers and influencers within target organisations to articulate the value of our Microsoft solutions and IT services.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings, including Modern Workplace, Dynamics 365, Network Transformation, and other IT solutions, to effectively communicate the benefits to potential clients.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, contacts, and opportunities in the CRM system. Track and report on sales activities and progress.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to strategise on account planning and execution, ensuring a seamless transition of qualified leads.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to contribute valuable insights to the sales and marketing teams.

Requirements

  • A genuine passion for technology
  • Strong communication skills both written and spoken
  • The ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Sales or customer facing experience would be ideal, but not essential
  • A motivated self starter
  • Be a quick learner, with an interest in becoming a market expert
  • Resilience
  • Previous sales experience
