About the role
- Arrange meetings, demos or attendance for events through calls, emails and Linkedin
- Develop your client base through market research
- Achieve agreed KPI’s
- Build market knowledge through professional qualifications
- Build strong relationships with internal colleagues and external customers:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential customers through research, outbound calls, and other strategic outreach methods to generate new business opportunities.
- Sales Outreach: Engage with key decision-makers and influencers within target organisations to articulate the value of our Microsoft solutions and IT services.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings, including Modern Workplace, Dynamics 365, Network Transformation, and other IT solutions, to effectively communicate the benefits to potential clients.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, contacts, and opportunities in the CRM system. Track and report on sales activities and progress.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to strategise on account planning and execution, ensuring a seamless transition of qualified leads.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to contribute valuable insights to the sales and marketing teams.
Requirements
- A genuine passion for technology
- Strong communication skills both written and spoken
- The ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues
- Sales or customer facing experience would be ideal, but not essential
- A motivated self starter
- Be a quick learner, with an interest in becoming a market expert
- Resilience
- Previous sales experience
