Account Executive

• Source, onboard, and manage carrier relationships with a focus on Mexico and cross-border operations
• Negotiate competitive rates with carriers while ensuring high service quality and compliance
• Monitor shipment execution, resolve service issues, and ensure on-time delivery performance
• Collaborate with internal teams and agents to match capacity with customer needs
• Maintain an active network of carriers specializing in Mexico, border drayage, and transload operations
• Understand and communicate customs, documentation, and regulatory requirements related to cross-border freight
• Provide exceptional communication in both English and Spanish to strengthen relationships with carriers and partners
• Identify market trends, capacity fluctuations, and pricing opportunities within the Mexico/U.S. corridor

Carrier Sales Representative

Collections

• Prepare month-end reconciliation of bad debt reserves-- including profit retractions, refunds, invoice adjustments, payment plan reviews, and final notice
• Analyze client records and market data
• Carefully analyze financial data to produce clear and objective reports
• Prepare and report the status of efforts related to key departmental metrics to upper management
• Research analysis of both industry and customer market data
• Produce monthly financial and management reports
• Investigate and resolve any irregularities or inquiries
• Develop and enhance current best practices
• Utilize professional communication to consult agents and customers

Collections Representative

Account Manager

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers managing their day-to-day LTL shipments.
• Manage and track daily LTL shipments to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
• Resolve shipment issues, including delays, claims, and billing discrepancies.
• Identify opportunities to expand services and increase wallet share with existing customers.
• Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, cost per shipment, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and eliminate inefficiencies.

LTL Account Manager

• Contact customers to collect outstanding payments via phone, email, or mail
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements within company guidelines
• Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and communications
• Resolve billing disputes and escalate complex issues to appropriate departments
• Collaborate with the sales, billing, and customer service teams to reconcile accounts
• Recommend accounts for further action, such as legal proceedings or third-party collections
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards
• Generate regular reports on collection activity and account status
• Maintain a respectful and empathetic approach when dealing with customers
• Assist with related special projects as required

Collections Specialist

Recruitment

• As our Agent Recruiter, you will focus on bringing in experienced brokers to Armstrong Transport Group’s agent program. A freight agent is an independent business owner who utilizes Armstrong’s platform and receives compensation through 1099 commission payments. You will perform both inbound and outbound lead generation to bring on new business. This role is a combination of recruiting and sales due to the unique nature of freight agent ownership. Agent Recruiters work closely with our back-office teams to support the growth of both new and existing agents. In this role, you will report to our Manager of Agent Recruiting and Development. Our ideal candidate has a background in sales and is self-motivated, personable, and passionate about the transportation industry.
• Responsibilities:
• Source prospects through cold calling, search engines, referrals, networking, career fairs, and other avenues
• Sell the appeal of being an agent with ATG to prospects
• Screen, interview, assess, and hire top-quality agent prospects
• Nurture and build relationships with potential agents
• Participate in the onboarding of agents and assist them in their acclimation to our organization
• Partner with the agent recruiting team and corporate staff to provide the ultimate onboarding and training experience to agent partners.
