About the role
- The Sales Specialist reports to the Director of Sales, UK & Europe.
- Manage and grow business with Armstrong Collective’s travel partners.
- Responsible for proactive outreach (voice and digital channels) to acquire and grow the business of an assigned group of small travel partner accounts in the UK & Europe.
- Support and achieve aggressive growth targets and identify and increase market penetration within the market and accounts assigned.
- Successfully manage existing partner relationships and deepen the partnerships to grow both FIT and Groups business.
- Build sales campaigns to drive bookings and revenue.
- Prepare proposals, presentations and supporting documents for use in the solicitation and closing of business.
Requirements
- Post-Secondary education and experience in the Travel/Tourism industry (a four-year degree is preferred)
- Prior sales or business development experience preferred
- Experience in relationship building through combination of in person, over the phone, and digital interactions
- Proven track record of success in achieving goals
- Experience with Microsoft Office products, Salesforce, Concur, and other systems.
- Strong presentation and training skills, both in person and via webinars.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Fluency in French or German is preferred.
