About the role

  • Oversee the planning and execution of software and hardware deployments, ensuring they are completed smoothly, on time, and to the customer’s specifications.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring effective communication.
  • Ensure all internal and customer stakeholders understand and have visibility to the project plans, and are kept up to date with daily updates and weekly status reports.
  • Keep the project forward momentum. Hold all parties accountable for completing tasks on time.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the deployment process and escalate up to management.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including customers and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Ensure deployments meet quality and compliance standards, including data and deployment validation.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline deployment processes.

Requirements

  • 1+ years conducting successful software project management in a technical environment. Cyber security preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • String familiarity with software and hardware deployment processes and technologies.
  • Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and building strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams both pre and post sales, fostering a collaborative and productive environment. Knows how to gain consensus.
  • Knows how to mobilise and motivate customer participation.
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve complex issues and address challenges that arise within the customer space.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and keep all stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Exceptional organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to make tough calls.
