About the role
- Conduct the coordination and execution of staffing for Tax engagements, aligning staff skills, experience, and availability with client and engagement requirements
- Partner with leadership to forecast resource demand, identify capacity gaps, and recommend strategies for optimal staffing and utilization
- Maintain and enhance staffing and scheduling systems to ensure real-time accuracy and visibility into team availability and allocation
- Monitor utilization and project timelines, providing analysis and actionable insights to prevent bottlenecks and ensure timely project delivery
- Serve as a central point of contact for staffing updates, communicating proactively with leaders, engagement managers, and team members regarding scheduling changes and priorities
- Collaborate with HR, Talent Development, and leadership to support workforce planning, onboarding, and skill development initiatives
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying trends, streamlining resource management processes, and leveraging data to drive operational decisions
- Balance multiple assignments and priorities with precision, demonstrating strong analytical thinking and a proactive, solution-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide recommendations that improve utilization and business performance
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in resource management, workforce planning, or project operations within public accounting, consulting, or professional services
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of Tax engagement lifecycles, staffing models, and operational processes within a professional services environment
- Competence in Microsoft Office Suite
