About the role

  • Manage the engagement and workflow of all client deliverables for multiple clients and engagements
  • Manage audits of employee benefit plans
  • Identify and resolve accounting and audit technical issues
  • Lead the engagement planning process
  • Review engagement work papers and related deliverables
  • Delegate assignments to supervisors
  • Conduct or review research of complex accounting and financial reporting issues
  • Keep the partner informed about client updates and technical issues
  • Develop at least one area of industry expertise
  • Assist in developing fee quotes and budgets
  • Preparation of client billings and collection of outstanding accounts
  • Developing into a trusted advisor
  • Oversee the preparation of audit presentations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
  • CPA license or Qualified Chartered Accountant
  • Minimum 3-5 years Public Accounting experience
  • Assurance leadership, guidance or supervisory experience
  • Advanced understanding of accounting (GAAP) and assurance (GAAS) procedures
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
