About the role
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships within designated territories.
- Execute account strategies based on anticipated business needs.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on business objectives and project deliverables.
- Generate and evaluate new product ideas and suggestions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Represent Bostik at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
Requirements
- At least 2 to 3-year experience in business development, sales, or a related field, ideally within the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Understand the skills and qualities essential for driving proactive sales success in a competitive environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a talent for building and nurturing client relationships.
- A strategic thinker with the ability to analyse market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail.
- A proactive and motivated approach, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- A passion for creating positive client experiences and achieving outstanding results.
- Exposure to SAP and Salesforce is desirable but not required as we are willing to train you.
