About the role
- Respond to customer inquiries via chat and email in a professional, timely manner
- Provide order status, tracking updates, and basic service/parts guidance (per available resources)
- Create and update tickets/cases; document notes clearly and accurately
- Verify customer details and update account records when needed
- Resolve common issues (address corrections, delivery exceptions, returns steps, invoice questions)
- Escalate complex concerns to the appropriate team and follow up until resolved
- Use internal knowledge base, scripts, and SOPs to ensure consistent answers
- Meet productivity and quality standards (response time, accuracy, tone, documentation)
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year customer support experience preferred (chat/email strongly preferred)
- Strong typing, spelling, and written communication skills
- Comfortable switching between multiple systems (CRM/ticketing, email, spreadsheets)
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet work environment
