About the role
- Develop the product strategy.
- Identify product needs and develop new business opportunities, as well as prepare feasibility studies.
- Make decisions regarding the company's product roadmap.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking.
- Understand regulations related to product marketing and installation.
- Participate in activities related to Manufacturers' Associations.
- Determine pricing and develop a market positioning map.
- Manage and control new product launches from all angles (develop and implement the Go-To-Market strategy).
- Monitor product performance in the market: sales, product mix, etc., necessary for decision-making.
- Develop sales scripts and provide sales/technical product training to internal staff, the sales network, and the customer network.
- Define the documentation and content for catalogs and price lists: technical specifications, value proposition, dimensions, etc.
- Coordination with other departments for the implementation of promotions, making sales forecasts, managing product obsolescence, defining services associated with the product (warranties, maintenance)
Requirements
- Formal education equivalent to a degree in Business Administration and Finance with a specialization in Marketing, or a degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in similar positions in the B2B sector, preferably professional distribution
- Focused on business development and results-oriented work
- Determined and independent to implement action plans
- Ability to adapt to different types of interlocutors (excellent communication skills)
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluency in Spanish at an independent user level is essential
- Intermediate level of English is essential (minimum B2 level)
- Italian is a plus
- Willingness to travel (primarily domestic, occasionally to Europe)
