Account Manager

• As a team member of the Arista Sales team, you are the face of Arista to our customers; their internal champion for the problems they need to solve.

Major Account Manager

Events

• Planning, organising, and executing large-scale marketing events to ensure clear promotion of our brand and services.
• Lead other local owned events by creating, planning and executing new events such as roundtables, forums, workshops, and webinars.
• Track, analyse, and report on event performance against defined KPIs (e.g., leads generated, pipeline influenced, attendance, engagement).
• Provide post-event analysis and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Act as a liaison between marketing and sales to ensure event objectives are met and sales teams are fully enabled for pre- and post-event activities.

Senior Software Engineer – C++

Full-stack Engineer

• Track ongoing developments in the Linux Kernel and identify features and functionality of interest to Arista for our products and for internal development needs.
• Develop and maintain EOS Kernel features and tests using C, C++ and Python, review and contribute to functional and design specifications.
• Build automated tests and test infrastructure to validate the features.
• Work with hardware engineers and vendors to qualify new Kernel dependent hardware components like CPUs and NICs for integration into Arista products.
• Work with the Kernel community to contribute features back to the mainline.
• Work with a team of Kernel engineers to integrate new versions of the Kernel for use in EOS and our internal development.
• Provide technical leadership across features, projects and tools.
• Work with Customer Support Engineers and customers to analyze, mitigate and fix problems in customer networks.
• Work with the System Test Engineers to analyze problems found in their tests and provide fixes for those problems.
• Mentor new and junior engineers to bring them up to speed in Arista’s software development environment.

Senior Software Engineer – Linux Kernel

• Write functional specifications and design specifications for system software to manage hardware components.
• Independently implement solutions to small-sized problems in the system software using the C, C++, and python programming languages.
• Write test plan specifications for small-sized features and implement automated test programs to execute the cases described in the test plan.
• Debug problems found by our automated test programs and fix the problems.
• Work on a team implementing, testing, and debugging solutions to larger routing protocol problems.
• Work with Customer Support Engineers to analyze problems in customer networks and provide fixes for those problems when needed in the form of new software releases or software patches.
• Work with the System Test Engineers to analyze problems found in their tests and provide fixes for those problems.
• Mentor new and junior engineers to bring them up to speed in Arista’s software development environment as well as broader SONiC development.
• Review and contribute to the specifications and implementations written by other team members and the SONiC community.
• Help to create a schedule for the implementation and debugging tasks, update that schedule weekly, and report it to the project lead.

Software Engineer – SONiC

Systems Engineer

• Partner with our Account teams to provide technical systems engineering support for enterprise customers and channel partners.
• Act as a trusted advisor for customers and channel partners to identify SD-WAN opportunities, gather WAN requirements, and design a solution that meets customers technical and business objectives.
• Provide advanced support to the sales organization to drive successful sales of VeloCloud SD-WAN and campus solutions through channel partners and directly to end-customers.
• Deliver presentation, demonstration, and participate in sales call and conversation with prospects and customers.
• Architect and design VeloCloud SD-WAN network and overall Arista solutions, providing technical recommendations and advice to prospects, customers, and channel partners.
• Lead the technical responses to RFIs, RFPs, and sales proposals.
• Translate complex customer WAN requirements into comprehensive VeloCloud and Arista network solutions consisting of design documents, statements of work, bills of materials, and support arrangements.
• Perform Proof of Concept (PoC) including hands-on tests to validate customer POC setups.
• Provide technical training to VeloCloud prospects, customers, and channel partners.

• Collaborate with Account teams to provide pre-sales technical systems engineering support
• Act as a trusted advisor to gather requirements and identify opportunities
• Conduct white board network architectural reviews
• Conduct Arista product presentations
• Architect, design and propose Arista Data Center & Campus network solutions
• Deliver NPI and mass production for hyperscalers
• Perform hands-on tests to validate customer proof-of-concept setups
• Put together design guidelines and recommend improvements to customer networks
• Partner with Sales Team to respond to RFP/RFQs

Network Systems Engineer – Pre-Sales

• Exceed measurable sales objectives within a named list of enterprise accounts
• Utilize a consultative selling approach with key client stakeholders
• Meet with key influencers and decision-makers to present Arista’s value proposition
• Collaborate with technology partners to identify prospects

• Proactively reach out to the customer to position Arista products in DC, Campus, Routing, AI, CV etc in order to expand account footprint.
• Provide Technical assistance on new opportunities including Proof of Concept testing at Arista and in customer's labs
• Ensure the customer is performing operational health checks, compliance reviews, and automation maturity assessments.
• Assist in deploying and integrating CloudVision, APIs, and automation toolsets.
• Support customers in implementing workflows for monitoring, telemetry, and provisioning.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in customer environments using Arista’s open, programmable platforms.
• Ensure the customer is deploying a Modern Operating model and they are reducing their TCO for running their infrastructure.
