Management of the Statutory financial statements process for international entities, including maintaining a plan that meets reporting deadlines and tracks progress and cost
Preparation of bridge from USGAAP to local statutory financials, including detailed balance sheet reconciliation and supporting schedules
Ensure data is ready for auditors resulting in an efficient audit process
Collaborate with the tax team in the annual tax compliance process while ensuring Statutory financial requirements are met
Participate in M&A and tax planning or restructuring projects
Monitor external providers to ensure that all regulatory compliance requirements are completed timely and accurately
Identify opportunities for process improvements to streamline and automate procedures
Build collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholders and external auditors
Maximize the use of ERP systems for preparation of statutory financial statements
Monitor and assess changes in local and global accounting standards and prepare for adoption
Track and file Statistical return for international entities
Reports to the International Controller
Work fully remote based in Ireland
Requirements
Experienced in the preparation and audit of statutory financials statements across international entities
Big 4/Top 10 trained and/or industry experience with US-based multinational organization
Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA)
Strong Excel skills
Experience of ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite)
Strong project management skills, proven by consistently meeting deadlines and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Initiative-taking, with strong collaboration and communication skills, and ability to take direction
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to work closely and proactively with multiple functions across the organization
