Lead the monthly close, consolidation, and external reporting cycle with precision, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with US GAAP, while paving the way for SEC reporting standards
Drive transformative IPO readiness initiatives, embracing PCAOB audit standards and implementing the financial controls and policies essential for a thriving public company
Cultivate strong relationships with auditors and external advisors, fostering collaboration that empowers our mission
Ensure unwavering compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions
Collaborate seamlessly with product, engineering, and data teams to deliver exemplary revenue accounting treatment for new product launches
Implement and enforce corporate policies and procedures that govern invoice processing, cash management, expense reporting, and related governance
Assist in the development, monitoring, and regular reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs)

Requirements
CPA, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and Big 4 Experience or related;
10+ years of relevant experience, including senior-level controllership or corporate accounting roles;
Proven experience preparing a company for IPO or operating as a public company controller/senior accounting leader;
Deep knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and internal control frameworks;
Strong leadership and communication skills;
Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
System savvy; experience with NetSuite or similar ERP, and familiarity with financial automation tools;
Tech-forward, with experience and a desire to leverage AI and the latest technologies to build scalable operations;
Preferred: Experience with multi-currency accounting, ideally in emerging markets.
