About the role
- Ensure all ceded reinsurance deals are accurately recorded
- Produce quarterly bordereaux for proportional ceded reinsurance deals
- Monitor ceded reinsurance payments and claims
- Manage ceded reinsurance collateral accounts
- Manage operational relationships with reinsurers and brokers
- Prepare ceded reinsurance quarterly and year-end financial reporting deliverables
- Manage Lloyd’s messaging process
- Assist with Lloyd’s regulatory reporting requirements as it pertains to ceded reinsurance
- Assist with the interim and year-end audit processes
- Other management information and analysis as needed
- Other duties as required
Requirements
- Undergraduate Degree/ College Diploma
- At least two years of recent, relevant post-qualification experience in a reinsurance role, ideally with Lloyd’s experience
- Excellent organizational and prioritization ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- A strong work ethic
- Flexibility to work nontraditional office hours as needed
