About the role

  • Preparatory bookkeeping
  • Collecting, verifying and coding accounting documents
  • Maintaining and organizing accounting-related records
  • Preparation of open-item lists
  • Close collaboration with our tax advisory firm (no tax returns or annual financial statements)
  • Receivables management
  • Monitoring incoming payments
  • Friendly and professional communication with clients regarding outstanding invoices
  • Sending payment reminders and dunning notices and initiating the corresponding processes
  • Telephone contact for overdue receivables
  • Internal project billing & controlling
  • Preparation of internal project invoices according to existing templates
  • Support with profit & loss analyses using Excel
  • Preparation of figures for internal management/control

Requirements

  • Experience in bookkeeping, preparatory financial accounting, or accounting
  • Structured, meticulous and reliable working style with a strong affinity for numbers
  • Proficient with Excel and digital tools
  • Independent working style and strong sense of responsibility
  • Strong communication skills – including when handling sensitive payment matters
  • Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
