About the role
- Partner closely with Project Managers to support end-to-end project delivery, with a strong focus on go-live readiness and transition to operations
- Gather, analyse, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements for system and technology initiatives
- Develop clear, high-quality project documentation, including:
- Business and functional requirements
- Process maps and workflows
- System configuration and solution design documentation
- Operational, training, and support handover materials
- Act as a central coordination point to ensure all documentation, approvals, dependencies, and prerequisites are completed ahead of go-live
- Support project planning by identifying dependencies, risks, assumptions, and business or operational impacts related to system changes
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to validate requirements, confirm scope, and assess readiness
- Support testing activities, including system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring outcomes are documented, issues are tracked, and sign-offs are obtained
- Coordinate go-live and cutover activities, including release planning, deployment documentation, and stakeholder communications
- Ensure solutions align with agreed design standards, security requirements, compliance obligations, and operational support models
- Support vendor engagement by clarifying requirements, reviewing deliverables, and validating outputs against agreed scope and quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Business Analyst role supporting project or application delivery
- Strong documentation skills, with demonstrated ability to produce clear, structured, and auditable project artefacts
- Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, or integrations through to successful go-live
- Solid understanding of project lifecycles, change management, and transition to operational support
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and workshop facilitation skills
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, delivery-focused environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with project management or documentation tools is highly regarded
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Business Analyst or Application Support role, preferably within the hospitality industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline (preferred)
- Experience working on IT, digital, or infrastructure programs (highly regarded)
- Valid driver’s licence
- Must be willing to work onsite in Ras Al Khaimah at minimum 3 days per week
