About the role

  • ARCOS is a leading SaaS provider serving the utility industry, delivering software that activates resources, manages crews, and enables digital work execution.
  • Position: Product Manager – Technical Software Products to drive strategy, development, and execution of APIs, algorithms, and platform services.
  • Lead understanding of open-ended market problems through regular customer and prospect interactions.
  • Define product roadmap for technical products such as event-driven APIs, aligning with company objectives and customer needs.
  • Lead API and Platform strategy focused on developer experience, security, scalability, and interoperability.
  • Work with Engineering and Architecture to define Platform vision and break work into user-story level items.
  • Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical capabilities.
  • Design and deliver scalable, high-performance solutions for technical users and own full product lifecycle from ideation to launch.
  • Participate in scrum ceremonies, roadmap estimation, backlog management, and communicate scope and value to stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, especially AI, automation, and data integration; develop pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, security best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of product management experience in a technical SaaS company with a focus on event driven APIs, platforms, or data-driven products.
  • Experience defining and driving a product roadmap, with a focus on technical products such as event driven APIs, algorithms, automation, or platform services.
  • Ability to gather and synthesize input from large Enterprise level customers and internal stakeholders such as Sales, Customer Success, Implementations, and Support.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage the expectations of customers and internal teams including executives, fostering great working relationships.
  • Strong technical understanding of API development, data platforms, and cloud-based services.
  • Familiarity with enterprise software development, security best practices, and scalability considerations.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, UX, sales, and customer success teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
  • Experience with enterprise integration platforms like Mulesoft, Snowflake, or Boomi is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled product features and their application in software products is a plus.
  • Experience with GIS data and systems is a plus (e.g., Esri, OpenGIS, or similar platforms).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or STEM field preferred.
