Account Manager

• Serve as the primary liaison between Archer and clients providing thought leadership
• Identify and initiate opportunities to cross sell and upsell clients on company products

Account Manager – Performance Marketing

Engineer

• Design and implement flight control algorithms for electric VTOL aircraft using MATLAB/Simulink as the primary model-based design environment
• Build and maintain high-fidelity Simulink models and simulations to verify and validate system requirements
• Work cross functionally to connect GNC requirements with other system requirements
• Influence leadership with decisions that are affected by GNC systems
• Implement creative solutions to efficiently verify complex systems and software, including Simulink-based test harnesses and automated verification workflows
• Run trade studies to inform aircraft design and system architecture
• Work with the Flight Test team to design tests that safely evaluate the vehicle capabilities
• Improve the fidelity and capabilities of our vehicle and environment simulation models
• Analyze full-scale and subscale flight data to improve our Simulink-based models
• Author software requirements and test cases that drive the design of the GNC software, including requirements traceable to Simulink model architecture
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering to properly decompose higher level requirements
• Collaborate with Systems Safety and Systems Engineering to identify and correct any deficiencies in the Flight Control System

Senior GNC Engineer – Hybrid, ACAP

Analyst

• Coordinate and support certification activities
• Track, review, and maintain certification documents, compliance checklists, and other related paperwork
• Work closely with Certification Engineers and Program Management to maintain Certification Status Reporting Tools
• Support meetings with regulatory authorities; take notes, submit briefings, and ensure completion of action items
• Assist in the development/release of Certification processes and procedures
• Assist with communications/submissions to the FAA; track FAA acceptance

Certification Applications Analyst

• Design and implement control algorithms for electric propulsion systems using embedded C code.
• Develop and optimize resonant converter control designs to maximize power efficiency and system reliability.
• Integrate and validate power electronics components, with a focus on DC-DC converters, within propulsion systems.
• Conduct simulations, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, and system validation to meet stringent aerospace performance standards.
• Work closely with electrical, mechanical, and software teams to troubleshoot and enhance propulsion control performance.
• Document technical designs, test results, and software iterations while adhering to aerospace development processes.
• Support the integration and testing of propulsion systems during prototype development and flight test phases.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of control strategies aligned with Archer’s mission of sustainable aviation.

Controls Engineer, Hybrid Propulsion

• As a member of our Certification team you will report to the Sr. Manager of Certification Engineering and help guide the certification efforts for our first certified aircraft.
• Coordinate and support certification activities for the assigned Engineering teams
• Establish compliance strategies for certification including methods of compliance to FAA regulations
• Work directly with the teams to establish relevant designs, development, and certification plans for Type Certification
• Act as liaison between the teams and FAA Designated Engineering Representatives (DERs)
• Communicate regulatory requirements in a clear and concise manner to the teams and other Archer teams to ensure all stakeholders understand the scope of compliance activities
• Ensure appropriate methods of compliance are selected and adhered to
• Lead the development, authoring, review, and execution of certification plans
• Assist with planning and execution of development and certification test campaigns, including coordination of Conformity Inspections, DER witnessing, and test results documentation
• Review designs and documentation with DERs to ensure compliance with airworthiness standards
• Support meetings with regulatory authorities; prepare briefing materials, and ensure completion of action items
• Collaborate with other members of the certification team to develop integrated aircraft level planning

Principal Certification Engineer
