About the role

  • Emphasizing client marketing, developing client relationships, mentoring staff, and growing Industrial Hygiene services in the Gulf Coast region as well as nationally
  • Marketing, selling, developing, and managing a wide variety of Industrial Hygiene and safety services
  • Overseeing the preparation of complex project proposals, reports and deliverables
  • Providing leadership, training and management support and mentor staff in the Industrial Hygiene consulting discipline and serve as a subject matter expert resource

Requirements

  • 10+ years in client-focused consulting environment with emphasis on Industrial hygiene, asbestos, lead-based paint, hazardous building materials (HBMs), management of HBMs, indoor air quality (IAQ) and mold evaluations, and chemical exposure assessments
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to deliver effective presentations and training sessions
  • Education: BS in physical sciences, industrial hygiene, safety, environmental sciences, or related science/engineering fields, or equivalent demonstrated experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • General understanding of HVAC and building mechanical systems, construction, renovation, and demolition activities
  • Knowledge of applicable OSHA, EPA, and state regulations related to asbestos, lead, mold, and related HBMs
