About the role
- provide overall construction phase project and construction management services for our projects
- coordinate and manage design related services during construction such as submittal reviews, RFI reviews and response
- coordinate technical input and guidance to the Owner
- change management, schedule management, document management, risk management, quality management and manage project close out
- provide project monthly progress reports
- liaison between the owner, contractor and engineering team
- serve as the project’s point of contact for the project team
- lead and support the resolution of any project issues
- prepare requests for change proposals, review Contractor claims and change proposals, and prepare change orders, work change directive or field orders as required
- monitor the Contractor’s progress per compliance with the contract documents and review and process the Contractor’s applications for payment
- review, analyze and report on contractors CPM baseline schedules and monthly updates
- attend and conduct all related project meetings including the preconstruction conference, project meetings and other related project meetings
- observe all construction activities at key milestones
- conduct substantial completion inspections and prepare project punch lists
- conduct final completion inspections
- provide Record Drawings based on the Contractor’s as-built drawings
Requirements
- 10 years of project management, water or wastewater pipeline, plant or pump station project experience
- PE License or CCM through CMAA
- project management of design related services during construction
- construction management related services
- experience schedule and cost management
- identifying, analyzing, and providing recommendations for all project issues
- ability to multi-task several projects, priorities and possess solid time management skills
- proficiency in MS Office Suite (particularly MS Excel, MS Word, MS SharePoint, and Outlook) and document management software
