About the role

  • provide overall construction phase project and construction management services for our projects
  • coordinate and manage design related services during construction such as submittal reviews, RFI reviews and response
  • coordinate technical input and guidance to the Owner
  • change management, schedule management, document management, risk management, quality management and manage project close out
  • provide project monthly progress reports
  • liaison between the owner, contractor and engineering team
  • serve as the project’s point of contact for the project team
  • lead and support the resolution of any project issues
  • prepare requests for change proposals, review Contractor claims and change proposals, and prepare change orders, work change directive or field orders as required
  • monitor the Contractor’s progress per compliance with the contract documents and review and process the Contractor’s applications for payment
  • review, analyze and report on contractors CPM baseline schedules and monthly updates
  • attend and conduct all related project meetings including the preconstruction conference, project meetings and other related project meetings
  • observe all construction activities at key milestones
  • conduct substantial completion inspections and prepare project punch lists
  • conduct final completion inspections
  • provide Record Drawings based on the Contractor’s as-built drawings

Requirements

  • 10 years of project management, water or wastewater pipeline, plant or pump station project experience
  • PE License or CCM through CMAA
  • project management of design related services during construction
  • construction management related services
  • experience schedule and cost management
  • identifying, analyzing, and providing recommendations for all project issues
  • ability to multi-task several projects, priorities and possess solid time management skills
  • proficiency in MS Office Suite (particularly MS Excel, MS Word, MS SharePoint, and Outlook) and document management software
