About the role

  • lead and direct the development and design of infrastructure projects for roadways
  • perform different roles on multi-disciplined projects including technical design, production lead, task leader, and assisting Project Manager
  • participate in a client facing role, making presentations and managing client expectations
  • develop project scopes and budgets, interface with and maintain client needs for the Project Manager
  • mentor and develop junior staff and design/drafters
  • develop project plans and maintain project schedules ensuring project compliance with quality and safety standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineer
  • 10 or more years’ relevant engineering experience including supervision of elements of large, complex projects
  • Professional Engineer (PE)
  • Engineering experience with infrastructure design and construction engineering
  • Proficiency with CAD particularly Civil3D, Microstation and experience with OpenRoads software
  • Familiarity with ODOT design standards and policies
  • Must have the ability to work on multiple unique assignments simultaneously
