About the role

  • Lead and manage the design and delivery of water and wastewater pipeline projects
  • Conduct feasibility studies, preliminary and final design
  • Provide construction support
  • Develop alignments and perform hydraulic calculations
  • Prepare detailed design drawings and specifications
  • Act as a technical point of contact for clients and attend meetings
  • Support business development activities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering (or related discipline)
  • 6-12 years of relevant experience in the design and delivery of water and/or wastewater pipeline projects
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in California, or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling tools (e.g., InfoWater, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS)
  • Strong technical writing, verbal communication, and organizational skills
  • Proven experience coordinating with public agencies, utilities, and permitting authorities
