About the role
- lead strategy implementation to drive organic growth across our integrated water business.
- responsible for coordinating and collaborating with the other Area Managers and all parts of the organization.
- oversee and participate in people management activities including hiring, onboarding, staff development, performance management and terminations.
- actively engage with and lead west North Carolina client account teams to expand business development opportunities.
- provide leadership for the operational performance of west North Carolina based Water staff to ensure achievement of operational goals.
- lead, develop, and coach a high-performing team, negotiating critical issues with clients, potential partners, and subconsultants.
- oversee projects in planning, design, and construction of various water infrastructure facilities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in water / wastewater / stormwater project management, design management, business operations, or related.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- P.E. License
- Strong client relationship skills with a successful track record of delivering engineering projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
- Strong project management experience on municipal water, wastewater, or stormwater projects of various sizes.
- Strong people management and mentoring skills.
- Excellent technical engineering skills with clear and concise written and oral communication skills.
