Support projects and clients in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities, with a focus on electrical design and coordination across multiple projects.
Develop design criteria, perform calculations, and prepare one-line diagrams, control schematics, plans, and specifications.
Close collaboration with the Control Systems group and oversight during construction including reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, conducting field inspections, and ensuring QA/QC and safety compliance.
Perform or supervise power system analyses using tools such as ETAP or SKM, including arc flash hazard studies.
Some travel, primarily within Southern California (approximately 5–10%), is required to support project needs.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology, preferably with an emphasis on power.
8-10 years minimum of relevant work experience
Fundamentals of Engineering / Engineer in Training certificate
Registered Professional Electrical Engineer in California or able to acquire via reciprocity from registration in another state in the USA.
Solid working knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
Basic understanding of AutoCAD.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project and Outlook).
