About the role

  • Lead structural design efforts for a diverse range of water infrastructure projects, customizing solutions to meet site-specific conditions, regulatory standards, and project goals.
  • Conduct detailed structural assessments and engineering analyses to inform innovative, data-driven design strategies.
  • Prepare high-quality technical deliverables, including engineering calculations, construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, bringing creativity and technical expertise to deliver sustainable design solutions aligned with industry codes and client expectations.
  • Support project execution by monitoring scope, schedule, and budget to ensure successful, on-time delivery.
  • Travel up to 25% to conduct site visits, participate in design meetings, and oversee construction activities, applying your expertise in real-world environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field
  • 8 years of structural engineering design experience, preferably supporting water/wastewater infrastructure projects
  • strong proficiency in structural design software, particularly STAAD Pro
  • practical experience using AutoCAD and Revit
  • solid understanding of relevant codes and standards, such as the International Building Code (IBC) and American Concrete Institute (ACI) guidelines
  • ability to prepare and review a wide range of engineering documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and project schedules
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
