Engage with electrical design and coordination of municipal water and wastewater projects with emphasis on power distribution systems in Columbus or Akron, OH. Work within Resilience business area to protect natural environment and water resources and power infrastructure for future generations. Require exceptional attention to detail, organization, self-motivation, teamwork, flexibility, and initiative to take on new projects.
Requirements
- Actively pursuing bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or closely related engineering field. Basic understanding and proficiency with Microstation and/or AutoCAD. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project, and Outlook). Ability to adapt to use of new design software which includes drafting, surveying and engineering Basic knowledge of power, power distribution, motor control, block diagrams, and variable frequency drives. Awareness of electrical codes and NFPA standards. Basic knowledge of power distribution. Experience with power distribution systems (preferred) Local candidates preferred (preferred)
