About the role
- Arcadis Senior Management Consultant for Resilience Water Team supporting asset management practice in West region (California, Texas, Arizona).
- Support development and implementation of asset management plans and programs.
- Develop strategic and tactical asset management plans, service levels, performance measures, and business process improvements.
- Analyze utilities’ operational business processes, asset registers/inventories, criticality, condition assessment, and repair and renewal needs.
- Coordinate analysis of large utility GIS, maintenance, data collection, or condition assessment databases to support inspection and planning programs.
- Evaluate asset inventories, technology support, consequence of failure, condition and remaining useful life, repair and renewal needs, and cost projections.
- Provide recommendations for improved O&M practices and supporting technology to minimize asset lifecycle costs.
- Improve asset management technology support with master plans, data integration, and associated technology applications.
- Some travel required for project site visits, client meetings, and conferences.
Requirements
- 8 years of consulting experience with an environmental engineering or management consulting firm or equivalent experience with a municipal utility.
- B.S. in Engineering, Engineering Management, or Engineering Technology.
- Comprehensive understanding of asset management tools and techniques including asset management frameworks, development of asset management plans, asset inventory, condition and consequence of failure assessments, life-cycle cost analysis, O&M programs, and capital investment planning.
- Strong communication and writing skills with ability to communicate technical concepts to clients.
- Exceptional communication skills with experience of managing and influencing senior stakeholders. (Preferred)
- Ability to work effectively in a team with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. (Preferred)
- Institute of Asset Management (IAM) Certificate or Diploma and Professional Engineer license (Preferred)
