About the role

  • Defining and evolving the global talent development strategy aligned to business priorities
  • Translating long-term strategy into multi-year leadership capability roadmaps
  • Partnering with Leadership and People & Culture to align talent priorities to business outcomes
  • Stewarding the Arc’teryx Leadership Code
  • Designing and overseeing development frameworks across all levels
  • Building scalable learning journeys and signature programs
  • Ensuring clear leadership expectations at each level
  • Embedding change leadership and resilience capabilities
  • Designing accelerated experiences, in partnership with Talent Management lead
  • Partnering with business leaders to create experiential development opportunities
  • Overseeing global leadership programs, digital learning platforms, and learning vendors
  • Ensuring memorable, high-impact learner experiences
  • Aligning retail, corporate, and functional development approaches
  • Measuring program effectiveness
  • Providing coaching / assessment debriefs to leaders
  • Leading and developing your team
  • Fostering an environment of collaboration, continuous learning, and evolution
  • Leading through the Arc’teryx Leadership Code
  • Building strength in relationships throughout the Arc’teryx organization

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in leadership development
  • Deep understanding of talent and leadership development
  • Proven experience in building globally scalable programming
  • Experience in a global, matrixed organization
  • Ability to build strong relationships and partner effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to see the big picture, translate it into tactical plans, and operationalize with excellence
  • Knowledge of HRIS and talent management technologies a plus
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, I/O Psychology, or a related field. Master's degree a plus.
