About the role
- As the Business Analyst you will act as the conduit between Technology and multiple business teams to deliver a best-in-class experience for our guests.
- You will lead our team by eliciting and analyzing requirements for projects, features and guest experience enhancements.
- You will facilitate collaboration between business and technical resources and document business processes and/or systems and their integrations.
- The Guest Services Technology team aims to set the standard in the outdoor industry as premier technology partners and experts.
- You will be working on a small but impactful team that interacts with many departments across Arc’teryx.
- The Discovery team is responsible for conducting research & discovery on a variety of projects, many involving or impacting our Salesforce ecosystem.
- You will work closely and collaboratively with many other teams, including Operations, Marketing, Finance and Analytics.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst/Business Systems Analyst, working on Agile projects related to e-commerce, retail & omni-channel
- You have experience with Agile methodologies and working in a dynamic, iterative development environment. You must be able to quickly absorb new and different types of information, modify and adapt existing knowledge, and work in a changing and evolving environment, to ensure successful project discovery & delivery
- You are proficient in using business analysis tools and software (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Miro)
- You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders to be able to explain, articulate, and document concepts, business processes, systems and business requirements efficiently
- You are detail-oriented with strong organization and prioritization skills while managing multiple, competing priorities
- You excel in analytics and problem-solving. You are a critical thinker who enjoys diving into the details and seeking to understand the “how” and “why”!
- You are able to work independently, biasing towards action to drive projects forward. You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
- You are curious and eager to learn. You thoroughly investigate every problem you encounter until you uncover what truly matters
- Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it!
- Having hands-on experience with CRM platforms (i.e., Salesforce) would be a strong asset
- Having experience working with a breadth of systems and integrations would be a strong asset
- Having hands-on experience and a previous track record of working with teams that have built and shipped projects & features that customers love would be an asset
- Having worked in the (Outdoor) Apparel or Retail industry would be an asset
- Having experience with new vendor integrations would be an asset
